I spent $7 on new headphones. This is the only money I've spent lately to buy nonessential goods. I wanted new head phones so that I could listen to music while I did my workouts in the morning. My old headphones sound great, probably the best headphones I've ever had. They're a pair of Sony noise canceling in-ear headphones, good bass and sound. Sometimes I even catch myself turning my head thinking I heard something in the room over my shoulder, and it turns out its just coming from the headphones. The only problem is they tend to fall out of my ear sometimes, especially if I try to work out with them. So tonight I went to Rite Aid and spent $7 on in-ear headphones that clip over the ear. I'm hoping they'll pass the test and not fall out. However, even if they fall out while I'm working out tomorrow I'll have succeeded in tricking myself into working out one extra time thereby making them worth the investment.
On top of that I also brought up my heavy weapons from home. Now I can start developing a bit more strength in my training. In the past, I've always wanted to get back to practicing with my broadsword forms with my heavy swords so I could see if it improved my frisbee throws. Because basically all that sword swinging, twisting and flipping makes your wrists super tough. I just wonder if it'll translate into the type of strength needed for sending a disc flying. On top of that, now is about the time I need to decide if I'm going to attempt to play club next year. It's going to take me sometime to really get my speed up to a competitive level.
Yay for PowerPoint.
