I've been checking for my geology test grade every few hours ever since I took it. Was hoping for an A, but after I was done taking it thought I'd done something more like a B or C. Welp, it's finally posted and I got 95/100. Looks like the class average was somewhere around 68%. Am I gloating? Yes. even if it is a freshman level summer class.
Tomorrow I get some help moving my big stuff into the new apartment. Moved a few things over tonight, did some laundry, bought a cast iron skillet & some dishwashing detergent, met one of my neighbors. I will miss the colors of Sunflower House (& the gas stove), but I will be glad to find that when I put things in the fridge they stay in the fridge untouched. Did I mention the jacuzzi? And the nature trail. Yay.
Other larger life events at the moment:
I am finally employed at a greenhouse. This makes my year.
I am also now a member of America's managing elite, which is slightly less exciting, though probably more impressive on a resume.
I'm also starting to be conscious of some dreams again lately, and that seems like a good sign. They're good, love-filled dreams too. In one, someone painted an entire 3-story house for me with variations on Van Gogh's 'Starry Night' (w/ white trim). Even awake, I was still amazed & beaming. And I can actually feel skin in my dreams again, which is astoundingly beautiful.
It's midnight = sleep.
