It's raining, and I'm happy.

Well, okay, it's not raining right now. But it has been, and that makes me happy. This morning I woke up moments before it actually started downpouring around 5:30am. Naked and overheated, I went outside into it. It was beautiful. Then I crashed back out with thunder rumbling around me. Getting out of bed @7:10 w/ my alarm was a little harder today.

This is my last week at the job I've been at for the last six months. I'm a little sad about it, but it's been a good experience, and I've got a number of good references which should help me get my work life back on track.

Speaking of that - I'M A STUDENT AGAIN! YAY!!!

I made sure to bug financial aid about work study because there are a couple of campus jobs I'd like, especially this greenhouse one. Biology, focusing on botany (& dabbling in entomology & ornithology) is the main course of action. I just like the outdoors more than average, I guess. Sunday? I spent more than 5 hours just wandering around outside, a good deal of that by the river. Dad always said golf is just something to do on a walk; I guess I feel the same way about biology.

Things are getting interesting at the co-op, but I'm not going to worry about them more than I have to. There's a big party on Saturday (and the news is apparently spreading through town like a wildfire), so that should be fun. Anyone interested is invited.

Okay - I should get back to work. :)
