Yeah, so I'm already dead,
On the inside but I can still pretend.
With my memories and photographs I have learned to love the lie.

Yesterday was not a fun day.

Today was better. I went out to a power plant/generating station today for work, and I must say I really enjoyed it. The place is massive with two units already online, one more ready for testing, and a fourth that will be up within the next year. So it was a very good learning experience.

Italy won the World Cup. I didn't watch any games, because frankly it's not that interesting. Granted, it's a hell of a lot better than something like.. say, the World Series. Because lemme tell ya, watching guys who've injected themselves in anabolic steriods go to the plate... swing a bat. repeat. Not interesting. The whole thing reminds me of an assembly line.
But Italy won! I saw the last half hour or so of the game Sunday at Charlie's. And Italy winning made me happy. It was also especially interesting to hear Charlie's dad yell "I don't want those frogs (read: French) to win!!" And don't even say "It wouldn't have happened had they not thrown Zidane out," because it's bullshit and you know it.

Two and a half weeks of work left. And then I move back the week after that. I'm still anxious, but definately looking forward to it.

Did I mention I hate camaros? Maybe it's because whenever I picture them, I imagine them sitting on cinder blocks in front of a trailer...

Anyways. Hi. How are you? I'm hungry. Something about walking around a generating station for four hours. And it was hot. I mean, so hot it made Cola in August look like a moderately warm day in... Winter. To say it was warm is being unfair to Webster's definition of the word. And there were stairs. Lots of stairs. This boiler and everything around it is in a tower that's 10-15 stories high. And spiders. But it was still awesome!
