The following is a chain of responses on my Myspace blog. I had a short paragraph about homosexual marriage. I said there is no way someone can honestly say it is wrong in reference to the Bible, and how much I hate it when people use the Bible to promote and justify their on prejudices.

Chris's friend who randomly responds to my Myspace blog:
I agree completely. I hate that too. I can't say I agree with homosexual marriage, but I do agree in not using the Bible to try to back it up if you don't know what you're talking about.

I'm sure you can already see where this is going....

Me:
Actually, there's not a damn way you can say it's wrong. Who are you to deny their rights? If not religiously, then lawfully. You are not God, and I'm pretty sure you never sacrificed for someone else's sins. Like I said, what the Bible condemned in Sodom was a mass rape, but what does that have to do with two people in a loving relationship? They're not perverts, and homosexuality is not a concious choice, it's a biological issue. We didn't choose to be heterosexual, it works the same way. You're not in the position to judge them or their lifestyle. If Jesus could accept and teach to a prostitute, you have no right to say they should be denied a union in God's eyes.

Yeah, it's so dumb to use the Bible to back up prejudice, huh.

I never got a response.
