Happy new year! Year after year watching folks dancing / laughing on the street on new year's eve is getting kind of boring. I just spent a quiet evening at home with my dog and cat.
In retrospect, the biggest accommplishment in 2006 was my decision to finish up my degree. I wasted nearly 6 or 7 years of my life accomplishing nothing, this is the period of my life I think I regret the most. I think that If I had stayed in L.A. with my grandparents when I got out of high school and moving onto college, I'd be in much better position these days financially and career-wise. It makes me unhappy sometimes seeing all my friends are all professionals now and yet I'm still working on an average admin job. I guess I'm just jealous and I am just not happy with myself. If I had concentrated on college when I was in my early 20's I would be working on a much better paying job by now. It almost seems like I'm always living paycheck to paycheck sometimes.
2007 New Year Resolutions:
1. Exercise more often, gotta exercise on a daily basis from now on.
2. Concentrate on finishing up my degree while working full-time. I must have my degree completed by end of 2007.
3. Expand my circle of friends. I would like more close-friends.
4. Be more fiscally conservative, I am going to start moving a portion of my income to a saving account from now on at the beggining of each pay period.
I hope by the time 2008 comes around I will have the above goals accomplished.
