(no subject)
so tonight i turned the television over to my archenemy MTV because i heard coldplay was going to perform on the video music awards. unfortunately, i missed it. but i did see something that rivaled me missing a coldplay performance. i saw something that utterly disgusted me to the point where i wanted to puke. dave navarro, guitarist for jane's addiction and former chili pepper, performing with none other than, christina "i'm skanky" aguilera. all respect for the man is gone. long live sellouts.
i turned it off soon after that but i did see who won the MTV2 award, since i watch that channel because of 120 minutes and the fact they actually have "music." i was disappointed that interpol or the roots didn't win the award. oh well. but i find it weird that they actually have a "best MTV2 award." it's music isn't it? why aren't they up for other awards? i guess they put cool original music in this category and put the crap they really care about in the other awards.
beyonce? justin? kelly clarkson (say what?)?
