Well today was my one week visit back to Shoffner's office after my Lasik. He still lives...
Day 1 Saturday, tired but could see through the blur
Days 2-4 Vision better than I have ever had
Day 5 half the day goes by and suddenly I start having problems
Day 6-9 Vision get consistently worse, can't read more than three pages of a book without dizziness, can't drive at night at all and everything is in 3D
Day 10 Go back to the office and they say everything looks good WTF!
This is normal it could take up to 6 weeks for your eyes to adjust to the mono vision. Wait you said two before surgery...
I can't work, can only drive during the day and carefully, can't watch TV, read or do anything requiring fine dexterity because I can't fucking see!
They say I have to have Patience and I will soon be very happy, like I was the first couple days. Well I am lacking in quite a few Virtues an that one is right up there with Humility. (sorry inside joke here) Well maybe not much of a joke.
I guess I am lucky, at least I have a job that will accommodate my slow response time and help me edit my work. Damn I hate my luck, I can't seem to do anything the easy way.
