8.05 Thoughts and Feels
I. Am. Pissed.
I just...Dean's always been a bit of a hypocrite. He's always been a "do as I say, not as I do," kind of guy. It's just one of his faults. But this is taking shit too far.
He's friends with a monster. He's friends with a monster who he lied about to Sam. He's friends with a monster who he lied about to Sam, because said monster helped him when he needed it most. JHC, is this sounding familiar to anyone?
How can this even be justified when he crucified Sam for making the choices he did with Ruby? How can it be justified when Sam begged Dean to give Amy a chance and Dean turned around and killed her behind Sam's back. Not only that, he let Kate from 8.04 go.
I just. I can't. I understand that Dean went through shit in Purgatory and I don't expect him to come out of that unchanged, but damnit. How come everything Dean does is right, and when Sam does it it's wrong? And I'm saying this as a Dean girl. You all know I carry a torch for that man. But this is ridiculous.
And I know, I just know that Dean's gonna turn around and be like, "So what, I made friends with a monster to survive, you didn't even look for me so that makes you the shittier person." Just ArrrGGHHHAaahhh it really pisses me off.
All that aside I enjoyed the episode. And I think I'm in the minority here, but I really liked "Bitten." I thought it was a nice change of pace, it was entertaining, and it was a little heartbreaking.
