Here I am....

So, we've acquired some new things for the apartment. I won't go into detail, but this place really really feels like a home to me now. I did get my back check from SSI, which paid for most of this stuff, so I didn't win the lottery or anything of the sort.
Today I have to go back to Microcenter, where I bought the computer on which I'm typing this, and get some sound cables because the cord I have connecting the computer to my TV is just video, unfortunately. Bummer, huh? But we'll get it worked out. That reminds me, I also have to take our cable box into Time Warner when I go into work and get a new one because it's gone screwy. The moment I hooked up the component cables to it, it stopped working. WTF? Time Warner can suck in a lot of regards.
Uh oh, I forgot. I have to be careful what I write about Time Warner on my blog because if I say anything embarrassing about Time Warner on my blog I could get in trouble for it. Talk about Big Brother. They might monitor my internet connection, as I have it through them, and they might be able to find out what my blog is titled and where exactly it is on the web.
Of course, if they do that, it's lawsuit time. It's called PRIVACY, biatch! Whatev.

Today I have to work, then I have tomorrow off. I had a few days off because the day I had to work I had to call off because we spent the day getting everything taken care of for the car.....as in, it was impounded and Holly and I had to drive to Circleville, back to Cbus, to Hilliard, then back to Cbus to get everything taken care of. In total, it took 5 hours. Isn't that ridiculous? But we are both completely and 100% legal drivers. We also have renter's insurance with our apartment, including flood insurance which is the main reason we got it. We are ground level and then down some. Our windows open up exactly at ground level, so if it rains very heavily, our apartment can flood. But weez covered, sirruh! Pretty cheap for renter's insurance with an f-ing TON of liability coverage. Apparently the amount of liability coverage is the minimum we have to buy, but I'd say it's excessive. Whatever. Still cheap and worth it every month.

I've joined the 21st century, friends. I have a cell phone! It does pretty much everything. It's not a blackberry or anything like that, or even a PDA. It just gets the job done. Thank goodness.

I'd like to end by saying that I love my wife vurry much. I don't think she'll read this as she never checks her friends page anymore, but I'm going to say it anyway.

Real is how you should keep it, friends.

new stuff, time warner, insurance, cellphone, work, car
