Missouri, the "show-me" state and a bellwether of American opinion, was the thirty-fifth state to pass a law noting that marriage can take place only between one man and one woman. This is meant to preserve family values.
In New York State, a woman recently married a man only moments after he was convicted of a crime. He had been sentance to ten years in jail for repeatedly raping his new stepdaughter while he was living with her mother.
I know many couples who have lived together in faith and honour, but are denied the right to marry, and privilidges thereof.
Show me why this state of affairs is right.
