I enjoyed reading this story, although I think James was being very irresponsible. It appears that Elizabeth didn't realize that the activity she and James did on the beach could result in a pregnancy. I can't help but wonder what would have happened if they'd gotten stuck on that island? Would he have been able to care for her through a pregnancy and deliver a baby? Does the royal navy teach emergency procedures like that? I think cops are required to learn that these days, are they not? And how would Elizabeth react to the fact? Would she even know she's pregnant? Or would James be forced to tell her

Thanks for the preview of the new story. I appreciate it. I thought I should read your other story first - the Beckett one - so I waited until today to read this. I think it's nice that James will get to meet his daughter. Will he tell her the truth? I'm guessing probably not? It might proove confusing to her, especially if she's still young (like a teenager

I like that you keep Elizabeth in canon - still wanting Will, but at the same time giving us all the Norribeth we want! Very well written - nice flow, and loved the twist at the end.
