Summer and I are pretty much settled into the new place. The furniture her parent bought us is all set up and its actually pretty homelike. It's actually kinda cool. Summers been trying her hand at cooking and stuff. I tried telling her that she doesn't need to do things like that, but it's really important to her and she isn't bad at it really. I nearly burned my mouth off with that first bite of chili she made last night but with a glass of milk. Mrs. Morganns been giving her tips. Summers been helping her out, getting her stuff if she needs it. They actually get along pretty cool. Captain Morgann been cool towards me. More than I could have hoped for. Aside from giving me a little shit for getting leg shackled to a high school student no less, the guys in the unit have pretty much backed off.
Tonights the reception at Ralphs. Summers on spring break so having it on a week night actually worked out cool. Morgann cut training short so we could all have off tonight, though he said its just how things turned out. Not like he's gonna say he did it on purpose so everyone could come out to the party. It should be cool. Then on Friday one of Summers friends is having a party for his 18th birthday. Summers worried that I wouldn't want to go cause it's the teen scene, which I may not be anymore but she's still one and in high school and has friends and she deserves to be able to hang out and do those things. We got the rest of our lives to be an old married couple, or whatever happens to a couple after they've married awhile.
