Summer liked my best Lloyd Dabler impression, even her parents were impressed. Not that her parents approval is something I needed. But all things considered it's nice to have. We ended up going to the beach and talking after I made an ass of myself for her whole neighborhood. I don't care, it was the best way I could tell that I mad crazy in love with her.Though I was a complete dumbass and had to ask without so many words what could possibly go wrong.
Later that day one of the actresses that Summer and Amber met when they were in LA visiting Summers cousin was killed. Summer was upset, obviously. I drove her to LA so she could be there for Cordelia. Cordelia was pretty upset herself. Between that and getting visions she was kind of a mess. I think the news to Summer that Cordy got these vision. She's hoping it's not hereditary. I sort of hoping so too. Cordelia seemed to handle it okay, but thats gotta be rough seeing demons and shit and trying to figure out who needs to be saved. In what we do at the base we just kinda walk through the town and if we happen on a demon or vamp attack well thats who gets saved. I'm not sure which way is better. Not knowing who needs to be saved, therefore not knowing whether we saved someone or fucked up or having a vision, knowing who needs to be saved, and possibly not making it in time to do it.
The singing and stuff is over. Jack told us that the matter was resolved and the demon resposible for it was gone. Good to know. I swear I thought half the people I know where gonna go up in flames, including Summer. I'll admit I was freaked about her making it through it. But she did. And now its over. We've kinda gone back to our regualr lives, waiting for the next big thing thats coming. Friday we got a report that someone had been kidnapped. Captain Morgann knows the intended victimes sister so he called us all in to start searching. She ended up being found, alive even, so it was a successful mission.
Um though we didn't actually find her. Some of her relatives did. But Jack sent us out tio the coordinates where she was picked up and had us take a look see. We found shit. Not even a shell casing. If it weren't for the dead demon head the chick brought back as from what I heard through scuttlebutt she mounting on her wall. Dude thats just wrong. But beside the point if it werent for the staement from the girl and the guy she was with there would be no trace that this event even took place. Maybe the coordinated were wrong or something, cause really what kind demons gonna track someone down like that to kill and then cleans up sfter itself? Freaking weird.
Morgann being cool and giving us the night off tonight, probably cause he wants to spend some Valentines with his new wife. Not caring, just glad that we have off. I can spend sometime with Summer. I was kind of unsure what to get her, so I got her some perfume. Its some goof stuff, smeels nice and if she hates it she can always find some demonic bunnies to spray it at. Which is what I said in the card. Plus I got her some chocolate. I'm not sure if it tops my serenade, but I figure you can't go wrong with perfume and chocolate. It should be a great Valentines Day.
