God, man. Summer is a wreck. The dance turned out so fucked up with that cheerleader chick burning to death. One of the teachers, her date and one of the students stayed behind and stopped the fire from spreading. I was just so grateful that Summer was okay that I didn't even care the alpha squad showed up and realized I was actually at the dance. Fuck 'em. Theres no way in hell that I would have wanted Summer to go through that alone.
Shes barely been able to go to school. Her moms got her on xanax. She so afraid shes gonna sing and burn. Her fear is making me afraid for her. She showed up at the base the other day, I was standing there with Captain Morgann and the Sarge and some guy from my unit and she started singinging. She got so worked up I new she she was getting close to burning like that girl at the dance I yelled for someo to getsom water and and I did the only thing i could thing of I kissed her and told her I loved her and that she couldn't dies on me. Thats when Morgann dumped a bucket of water on us and she cooled off real quick.
She seemed okay after that. But...she doesn't believe me. She thinks I just said it just to save her. And that thought is killing me. I've gotta do something to get her to see how I feel about her.
