It's back! "Gargoyles" has returned!
Finally! One of the great unsung made-for-TV horror movies of the 70's is back on DVD and available at something less than astronomical prices.
Ladies and gentlemen, I give to you: Gargoyles!
Really, the special effects alone were amazing for the time and budget it was made in and with. Given that they're from Stan Winston, that should be no surprise. It was also rare in that it made the monsters villains while still keeping some sympathy for them (rather than tragic villains or the whole beaten to death "But they'd be our friends if we just Tried To Understand.")
Better get it while you still can!
