Yet another Hollywood remake in the offing: From Hell it Came!
Hollywood is apparently quite seriously planning to remake this film. Here's the original trailer:
Basically it's a 90-minute long version of 'When Ents Go Bad from ATHF. I think I actually do want to see this, just to see how utterly awful it'll be. After all, when the original film was dished by the critics wth comments like, "From Hell It Came? And to hell it can go!" But how can a film about a man-eating, woman-raping, giant radioactive undead tree possibly go wrong?
Hollywood is also looking at redoing this little classic, The Woman Eater:
Mad scientist raises woman-eating tree in basement, only to have everything go wrong? Gosh, when will those insanely greedy Hollywood producers whacky mad scientists ever learn?
If these really do go through, then I demand that Hollywood shoot a modernised version of The Creeping Terror. A giant alien slug monster terrorises the countryside by voring down half-naked girls? Gosh, how could they have missed that one?
