Nah, I don't believe in "fairy tale" excuses. If I could add up the time I've wasted clinging to the shreds of a "fairy tale" of which I'd convinced myself, rather than seeing/knowing/acknowledging the actual truth, I could get another degree.
It can be tough to get past the seeing the movie ending in your brain. That's where I'm at right now on this one. Tons of potential that went unrealized. Ugh...
