Open Letter to Fred Thompson
Dear Fred Thompson,
I understand that you’re moving steadily towards declaring your candidacy for president of this great nation. As a fan of the hit TV show “Law and Order” since high school, I want to say to you: don’t. Just don’t, okay?
We already have one president who’s doing to the USA what you’ve done to “Law and Order”: turned a once great and noble institution into a right-wing caricature of its former self. We don’t need you to lead us further into hell.
Please sir, if you have any shred of artistic and/or political mercy in your blustering heart, you will walk away from your presidential aspirations as you should have walked away from Law and Order after your douche bag character fired Assistant DA Serena (and I don’t care what he said, I think he DID do it because she was queer).
