I.
• SANTIAGO, I HAVE MISSED YOUR BEAUTIFUL FACE AND YOUR EVERYTHIIIIIIIIIING. THANK YOU FOR COMING BACK INTO MY LIFE. NO, REALLY, I MEAN IT, YOU CAN STAY FOR DINNER, YOU CAN EVER STAY FOREVER.
• My boy's back, guys. :'D I'M SO HAPPY I COULD CRY. I know for a lot of people Gwaine has eclipsed Lancelot in terms of affection and I get it (believe me, I totally get it, I can't even describe how much I want Gwaine on my screen for forever) but there's a backstory to me and Lancelot which made him the character I knew would be my favourite even before I started watching the show (unless they managed to royally fuck it up which luckily they didn't, unless you count Santiago not being in every episode). Now, I've been a fan of this legend since I was little and Lancelot's always been my favourite. I've always loved him and Gwen, yes, but he's always been my favourite knight and that's what he is first and foremost. I think that's why the end of this season has been so exciting because the bond between the knights has always been my favourite and there's a reason Lancelot is Arthur's first knight and there's a lot to be said that Lancelot is willing to lay down his life for Arthur. I don't think this show will ever turn Lancelot into a bad guy and they're going to have to tread carefully around the love triangle for fearing of tainting any of them too much but I look forward to it.
• Speaking of, DID YOU SEE LANCELOT'S FACE WHEN ARTHUR AND GWEN KISSED? OH MY POOR BB. ;____________; GWEN, BEAUTIFUL BEAUTIFUL LANCELOT IS THERE WITH PERFECTLY KISSABLE LIPS. GO KISS HIM. WE ALL SAW HOW YOUR FACE LIT UP WHENEVER HE LOOKED AT YOU AND WHEN HE GAVE HIS SPEECH AT THE ROUND TABLE. They're always going to be my OTP and there better be plenty more of them to come because hnnnnnnng otp of forever and ever and ever. ♥
• "I don't know. But I like him already!" Gwaine + Lancelot BFFs campaign starting now because you know they'll be epic beyond words. And just knightly bonding all around because when Elyan asked where Gwaine was and Gwaine came out saying it was Sir Gwaine, OH THE ADORABLENESS. The knights just need to have one giant bromance with each other.
I also look forward to learning more about Percival and his relationship with Lancelot because he was pretty adorable as well.
• LANCELOT AND MERLIN: THE ORIGINAL BFFS. ohhhh I can't even begin to explain how happy I was that they included that continuity and that Merlin wrote Lancelot as if they had kept in contact~ why so cute, buys? I loved their scene together and Lancelot telling Merlin he was the bravest of them all and I love that Lancelot is one of the few to know Merlin's secret because I feel like Lancelot is a friend Merlin needs. So I hope for more of them too.
• SANTIAGO, YOU HAVE A BEAUTIFUL FACE AND EVERYTHING. :D
• THE ROUND TABLE SCENE. I CAN'T EVEN YOU GUYS. SO EPIC. TEARS. IN MY EYES. I think one of the reasons I've always loved Lancelot was that I've never really liked Arthur. Or I've always just liked Lancelot more and that has eclipsed any affection I could have had for Arthur. Same goes for most of the knights, actually.
Bradley James, on the other hand, threw everything on its head by making me fall fast and hard for his Arthur. I love, love Arthur. This is the first time I've shipped Arthur/Gwen even remotely. Now, that being said, Arthur or Arthur/Gwen still isn't my favourite by any means but I have enough affection for them now and especially Arthur as a sole character. His speech at the Round Table was one of those defining moments of Arthur's character for me. One of the reasons I love this Arthur so much is his ability to be a leader and his love of Camelot. Seeing him speaking really made me proud.
I also think it was important for Lancelot to speak and surprising to Arthur, too, given their history. However, if Lancelot's going to be set up as his first knight, they're going to have to move past Gwen and act as Prince and Knight and I think the Round Table scene showed they could do that. I have to believe that both would put their duties to Camelot first (one of the problems I had with Arthur/Gwen episode of Arthur saying he'd relinquish his claim to the throne) and seeing Lancelot be the first to put his life on the line for Camelot and Arthur and all that is good was defining for their relationship and I think how Arthur sees Lancelot.

• I think, besides all the epicness of the episode in terms of things we've been waiting for, I was a little disappointed with how fast everything was solved. I was hoping that Morgana and Morgause would take over Camelot and Arthur and everyone would be hiding out in the woods a la Robin Hood, ready to attack! lol I really was, ngl, and hoping that'd go in to next season. Oh well. I just think they took back Camelot with too much ease and should have carried over the taking of Camelot to next season. I don't look forward to the return of Morgana or Morgause, though.
• MORE OF THIS IN SEASON FOUR, PLEASE.
Speaking of television, watched the Boardwalk Empire finale. I enjoyed it but was largely underwhelmed. I thought the ending felt very finale-esque and the song performed was golden but it didn't feel like a finale throughout. Like, the emotion and tension wasn't high enough. As latenightcuppa and I discussed, though, LOST has just completely ruined and spoiled us for finales. I'm really, really excited for season two, of course, because this show is epic beyond words but the finale just didn't deliver what I had been hoping for. That being said, Nucky's speech and the hit was mind blowingly awesome.
Still need to watch the finale for The Walking Dead.
II. So I've had this in my head for years, always interchanging people (mostly everyone but Remus as I've always had this person in my head as Remus) but I think I've finally found a set cast for the Marauders + Lily. I have a cast for other Marauder era people like Snape and Frank and Alice and Mary and Marlene and Lucius, etc. but I'm only doing my main five today. I've obviously given this a lot of thought over the years as the Marauders have been my favourite people of forever ever since the third book first came out and I've always had this set image in my mind of them but now I have a cast for you all. Or, at least, a partial class. And even though there are pictures of my James wearing glasses, don't ask me why I didn't include any of those because idk.

III. LAPTOP CHARGERS, Y U HATE ME? D: So earlier this year, my original laptop charger that I've had since I first got the laptop failed on me and I bought a new one for a pretty penny. The other night, the new charger I had bought over summer started failing on me and I went to Best Buy this morning to investigate. Luckily Geek Squad is amazing and they told me what had happened (since my adapter wasn't on the same level as my laptop, it was tugging on the charger) and then gave me a new one for free! :D Now change Geek Squad to Nerd Herd and have a man named Chuck Bartowski be the one who helped me (or even Morgan Grimes even though he's not a Nerd Herder but I ♥ him lots, okay) and it would have been perfect. I also got an air compressor can because my laptop's been overheating and humming really loudly and so I cleaned my fan AND MY LAPTOP IS FANTASTIC NOW. I love when things work out like this.
IV. THIS WEEK IS GOING TO GO BY SO SLOWLY. FRIDAY, WHY CAN'T YOU BE HERE ALREADY? Two finals down, three to go. They've been pretty good so far, just not going by fast enough. I did e-mail Cappie (a high school teacher I'm really close to) and she's getting me a visitor's pass on Monday so I can hang out at my high school for the day and she said I made her day when I e-mailed her. :'D
Anyway, I'm seeing Black Swan with The Guy Friend and latenightcuppa tonight so that should be fun! I'm kind of freaked out but excited nonetheless. I like to be on top of talked about films come award season. There are still films from last award season I need to see but I'll get there. I just want The King's Speech to come out! And in terms of non-award films, we've got Voyage of the Dawn Treader and TRON coming out this month! And The Tourist if I decide to see it.
I'm also working on the mixes. I want to get all of them done before posting them one at a time that I way make sure everyone has one ready to go at the same time. And cards will be sent out soon after I get home. :D
