"Run for your life!"

Mar 11, 2008 23:17

With series 4 getting closer and closer (and my excitement reaching the brink), I've decided to take a trip down memory lane with Nine and Rose.

Nine: Run for your life!
Female Fans: -brain implodes- -melts-
Reassure me here that I am not the only one absolutely smitten by Mr. Big Ears (besides Rose of course).

Nine: -makes funny face- Did I also mention it travels in time?

AW. Their first date includes watching her own planet explode! Now that's what I call romantic. Smooth move, Nine. Then he redeems himself by holding her hand. HOW CUTE.

One of the cutest Nine/Rose moments ever. CHIPS FTW.

And he escorts her. That's what I call a gentleman.

My inner shipper goes SQUEE.

Nine = Genius. Rose is amused.

All right, so he's being tortured, but STILL.

LOOK AT THAT FACE. Nine is uber concerned about Rose, wut. Which makes all of us go AWW.

This episode was kind of blah but look how proud he is of her. Makes my heart flutter. Then he gets jealous and it's cute.

-wibbles-

So it's not Nine but it is Jack! :D Plus this is probably my favourite story arc (or at least one of them).

I DIED RIGHT HERE. OMGPERFECTCUTE. CAPTAIN ENVY FTW.

Then I was resurrected and died again. Che.

Not one of my favourite episodes but OH HOW I LOVE THIS SCENE. TEAM TARDIS = LOVE.

AND THIS SCENE TOO.

WAAAAAIT. THIS ONE TOO.

This one made me LOL.

The sheer emptiness and coldness on his face made me ache for him and shiver all at once.

"I'm coming to get you." <3

IT WAS MORE THAN JUST A TRANSFER OF ENERGY, I TELL YOU!
By the way, was I the only who giggled at the, 'Do you need a doctor?' line?

I could end it on the FABULOUSNESS that is David Tennant but I've got to stick with the Nine/Rose theme.

Most of the time, I consider Nine my favourite Doctor. Partly because he was my first Doctor and I love his snarky, goofy personality and his silent but deep feelings for Rose. Then, of course, I go to watch series two and my first thought is: OH, TEN. <3

I've concluded (and actually made this conclusion a while ago) that I cannot choose between the two of them because they're so different and I love them for so many different reasons. They're amazing in their own ways and that's perfect.

Also, a little song I thought fit the Doctor and Rose PERFECTLY.

So at singing class tonight, my friend was singing a song and as I took in the lyrics, my brain nearly exploded with how perfect it is for the Doctor/Rose. Some parts I can see as Nine while others are clearly Ten. The song in question?

Far Away by Niclelback

This time, This place
Misused, Mistakes
Too long, Too late
Who was I to make you wait
Just one chance
Just one breath
Just in case there's just one left
'Cause you know,
you know, you know

[CHORUS]
That I love you
I have loved you all along
And I miss you
Been far away for far too long
I keep dreaming you'll be with me
and you'll never go
Stop breathing if
I don't see you anymore

On my knees, I'll ask
Last chance for one last dance
'Cause with you, I'd withstand
All of hell to hold your hand
I'd give it all
I'd give for us
Give anything but I won't give up
'Cause you know,
you know, you know

[CHORUS]

So far away
Been far away for far too long
So far away
Been far away for far too long
But you know, you know, you know

I wanted
I wanted you to stay
'Cause I needed
I need to hear you say
That I love you
I have loved you all along
And I forgive you
For being away for far too long
So keep breathing
'Cause I'm not leaving you anymore
Believe it
Hold on to me and, never let me go
Keep breathing
'Cause I'm not leaving you anymore
Believe it
Hold on to me and, never let me go
Keep breathing
Hold on to me and, never let me go
Keep breathing
Hold on to me and, never let me go

All the 'I love you' lines I clearly see as Nine around the regeneration time because he never got to say it to her. It can also work for Ten but Nine jumps out at me. The verse about dancing and whatnot is completely and utterly Nine.

All the lines about missing someone and how they've been far away for far too long is, quite obviously, Ten.

So tell me, am I crazy or does this song work?

That was fun. SQUEE. SERIES 4.

Catch you later, calculators.
