So. For some reason, My Most Absurd Book Idea. Ever. was well-received. Cookies were offered and deities invoked, I even received an email from Horatio Nelson. Quite obviously, he has already been cloned

I'm sorry to hear that! There's no way around it? It's not really the same thing, is it?

The concept is a bit too similar for comfort - cloning historical figures who struggle with their fate as teenagers. Of course it would be a very different story, but still, that's a slippery slope. I don't want to write "Clone High" fanfic, but something original. And I don't want to risk any "Plagiarism! Get the torches and the forks!" incidents connected with my original writing, you know? :-(
