Yes, I have more fairytales, or rather, Claudi has (we share). I love the children movies from former Tchechoslovakia (spelling?). "The Witch Hexana" is one of my favourites, or "Rumburak". And not to forget the all-time classic "PanTau". :-) Plus each and everything by the Augsburger Puppenkiste.

I know Rumbarak... Though I think I know it under a different title... Die Marchenprinzessin...? We tended to watch that series on German television... never liked Pan Tau, as a kid he freaked me out

At least part of my curiosity has been satisfied. I also think we 'grew' up watching the same kinda shows on tele :P

oh yes, die märchenprinzessin! that was it, I forgot the title. pan tau was low on the list, but somehow a regular part of the sunday tv-routine. :)

you know, we could have a "blast from the past" dvd session once, with all our favourites from our childhood playing :)

Sorry I don't know the children's stories you mention. The Full Monty was on t.v. here (UK) the other night so I watched it again. And if you like British movies...news is that Andy Serkis is going to direct a film to be set in the North East of England (near my neck of the woods) and filmed there too.

I had to have a good think about which lotr film I liked best and realised it's TTT. It's still the one I rewatch most.

No, I haven't done this yet ... I suppose I'll have to raise my mitt and pick up the baton too. :)

now that is great news! :-D that's definitely something I'm going to watch! thanks for the tip.

another ttt lover? YAY! now we are already 2! one more, and we can found a fan club! I really don't understand the criticism on ttt. for me, the weakest movie was rotk, at least the cinema-version. too many cuts of important scenes in favour of even more fights and more battles and more mumakils.

and yes, please! I'd love to see your replies!
