Rant, ahoy!

Hello, bloody 7-10 page research paper on my choice of two topics I don't give a blooming rat's arse about!

Have I ever mentioned my nickname in highschool was "Queen Concise"? While my teacher's daughter could write a 40-page dissertation on Green Eggs and Ham, I could summarize The Lord of the Rings trilogy into a paragraph. So, how on earth am I going to get through this thing and make it the right length when I don't even care about either of my two possible topics? Plus, we have to have a minimum six sources, and of those maximum two can be internet.

I like English. I like studying language, and grammar, and etymology and such. I like writing. But this class has way more politics involved that the token right wing conservative girl wants to deal with. Yes, the rest of the world both loves and hates our country. It's smart of them to do so, and if I can manage to develop enough British accent to lose my Californian one, I'll move over to England and join them.

Well, hopefully that rant will stave off whatever panic attack I'm going to have for a while at least.

Oh, and I should probably start memorizing my lines for Wardrobe. Oh course, if September is going to be in it, it would make a lot more sense for her and I to trade roles, because she's more the Peter type, and I'm more the White Witch. Of course, that would mean giving up my fight scene, but also she's already played Peter, so it would be easier on her for a last-minute study. If we're getting Heather though, then I should stay Peter and she should play the White Witch again, because again, easier to quick-study a role you've already played.

Maybe I'll just learn both. Hah! Like I really have time for that.

I want to get out of the house so badly, but Mom's not home yet. And I'm seeing two plays this weekend. And maybe a dance show, because I just realized I think I have my dates wrong mentally. Oh bloody *expletive of choice*.

But look! Silly new icon!
