This weekend was quite fun. Friday night we went swing dancing where I sat around watching everyone else dance. I am not complaining, though, as I had fun sitting there. I danced once with Jessica, which I enjoyed because she tought me a few dance moves. On the way out to Murry Hill we ran over some sort of animal. We came close to hitting two other animals before, but the third one came out of no where and got ran over by the back right wheel. Meh, oh well.
On Saturday Tony, Lauren, and I went and saw "White Noise." From the previews on TV the movie looked scary, yet all of the scary parts in the movie were predictable, which was a huge let down. I wanted to see a really scary movie... We came to the conclusion that the movie could have been A LOT scarier. In fact, I only jumped once and that was because Tony pushed. Thanks Tony. After the movie we came back home, then left for Ryan's house for Bible Study. The book of Revelation (LOOK! No s! It's not RevelationS) is quite interesting, especially during the Tribulation. After Bible Study we played Scrabble. Tony ended up winning off three two letter words (ID, EQ, and JO). Towards the end of the game we started using the dictionary, which is considering cheating. Oh well, good job, Tony! I think God tought me a lesson in humility that night.
Sunday was just Sunday... Nothing too special happened. I went to Wal-Mart and bought a notebook for Physics and Calculus, but other then that I stayed home.
On Saturday, though, I heard something from Tony that I really needed to hear. God has answered one of my prayers, which is good because that was what I was asking him for. He answered with a "later" which is respectable. I don't need another thing to worry about whilst I am trying to get through the rest of my Senior year, and I still dont have a car, so His answer is a good one =]
As I said before, give your life up to God, sit back, and watch. He is the great I am, His thoughts about you and me OUTNUMBER the grains of sand on the beach, and He has numbered EVERY hair on our heads. I REALLY think He cares about us, especially if He is willing to send His son down to earth to die for OUR sins. We should have been on that cross, not Jesus.
