Saw new specialist today (physiatrist). He says he isn't completely convinced I have fibromyalgia. One of the blood tests that was done a few weeks ago shows that there is some kind of inflammation going on (the factor is 30 times too high). He's going to hook me up with a new rheumatologist that he works with, and see about doing some more testing

Wow. :( That is not good news at all... except for the part about the physiatrist and maybe-new rheumatologist. It would be great if whatever it is could turn out to be something non-chronic. Or at the very least, maybe the rheumatologist and/or physiatrist, between them, will be able to come up with some treatments that will give you some relief.
