Saw new specialist today (physiatrist). He says he isn't completely convinced I have fibromyalgia. One of the blood tests that was done a few weeks ago shows that there is some kind of inflammation going on (the factor is 30 times too high). He's going to hook me up with a new rheumatologist that he works with, and see about doing some more testing. My knees are swollen and I am wearing athletic braces since Saturday when I pretty much lost the ability to stand up and sit down without my knees going nuts. So we will probably pull some of the fluid there and check it out.
Overall, I liked this doctor, and have some hopes that he will help me work through this. I really need to have my legs back. I've been in bed since Saturday, and cannot leave the apartment alone. If I could get the legs working, I could deal with the other stuff.
