Needs More Summoners (and Cowbell)

I've been pulling teeth trying to get a Fenrir run. Last night I couldn't get more than 3 summoners, counting myself. Tonight I got a group of four. We wiped twice, had to home point, and disbanded. I don't see myself ever getting more than a party of four and that didn't go well at all.

The linkshell has like 12 75 SMNs, about 4 or 5 of which are

ok I'm gonna give you a suggestion that sounds foreign to many ears but actually makes sense. First off, I'm one of those who haven't sold my soul to HNMls and such but still have managed to get along pretty well. So before I get flamed and people saying that I have no idea what I'm talking about I'll make sure that's out too. I can give examples if need be but I really hope it's not necessary.

Anyway, from the sounds of it you're trying to put together fenrir runs on the fly. Which in some cases work, but usually not always even for a "ffxi celebrity" like yourself. Because honestly, even though they appreciate your guide they will see you as a lsmate more than anything and your outside rep won't have anything to do with it. Try actually talking to people and assembling a group together to do it even if it's not that day. This way you're not rushed and people won't overlook necessary details. So basically take your thumb out of your ass, take charge, and actually have fun doing it.

And don't resort to shouting if you don't have to. from the sounds of things you know enough people so pickup ptys generally isn't the best idea if you can play with people you have played with and can work with.
