Needs More Summoners (and Cowbell)
I've been pulling teeth trying to get a Fenrir run. Last night I couldn't get more than 3 summoners, counting myself. Tonight I got a group of four. We wiped twice, had to home point, and disbanded. I don't see myself ever getting more than a party of four and that didn't go well at all.
The linkshell has like 12 75 SMNs, about 4 or 5 of which are on any any time. The large majority of them are irresponsive to my repeated requests for assistance. They don't even give me the dignity of saying they don't want to. They just ignore me outright. These are the same smug bastards that will show up tomorrow for events and bitch about people coming certain jobs and people getting certain items.
Final Fantasy is not a team-oriented game at all. It's a single-player game where you need help to get single player rewards. The smart people buy gil, bot and steal NMs, never lift a finger for anyone, and end up with all the stuff. The fucking morons write guides, offer to help with little or no reward, preach about how botting is bad as they watch other people having fun playing a game while they stand there with their thumbs up their asses, and can't kill goddamn Fenrir.
Things like this are going to drive me to quit for good, I swear. I feel like I'm halfway there.
