In which Q-chan takes a dagger to poetry and lets it bleed :)
A long, long time ago, in a classroom far away, my brain was under attack by an urge to write poetry. So I did and then just as suddenly as it attacked...it left me D:
I haven't written any poems, let alone any good ones in a while, but today while on the train I got attacked again. So Voila...poems.
Critique? Comments? <3 OMFG. This is so pretentious wannabe poet. Gah. Shoot me.

I cannot feel but hate, hate, hate
for this deplorable miràge
this ungainly, unsightly
vision that seems to scream louder & louder
as of late.
I cannot feel but love, love, love
for the enchanting, seductive paradox
this plastic reality
crammed into a typecast symbol of peace & harmony,
a white dove
I cannot speak but half-truths
I cannot see but veiled lies
for the air of depravity swallows me
pushes me down, digests me
I cannot live but for a second
Two Sizes too Small Large
Your feelings come in two sizes
X-large, x-small
There is no balance, no middle ground
for you - and your overwhelming person-ification
of the ambiguous things in your heart & mind
It's x-large or x-small
and you know clearly that I cannot fit into either size
but you go ahead and do it anyway
and I'm flailing underneath
pushing back, pushing up
though it's of no use
your x-large, x-small squeezes me
holds me tight
wraps me loose-ly
and there are little reactions that flit in between us
your feelings come in two sizes
x-large, x-small
there is no balance, so I'll be the middle ground
Where Oxygen is Concerned
Breathing shouldn't be hard,
shouldn't prove difficult
but somehow it is
A joke said, laughter, smile
And the lungs expand
nostrils flare
but no air
a teasing word, wink, grin
And the neurons fire
blood cells travel
but no oxygen
a brush of the digits, feel, pressure
And the mouth opens
gasping noises
But no breath
Breathing shouldn’t be this difficult
but somehow it is.

and In RL news. I"M GETTING MY BRACES OFF IN A MONTH! w00t!
though I was kinda hoping to get them off before school started...but it's not too bad.
I had them for about a year and 9 months now.
