Title: Maybe Next Time
Summary: Until one of them decides to concede, they will keep on fighting each other, stuck in the same rut.
Warnings: Nothing!
A/N: Same concept as previous drabble, but way too more "purple prose"-like. Urgh.
MOAR angsty-ness. D:
but there's a fluffier 2nd one. :)
They are at a standstill, both breathing rather harshly from the use of so much chakra and raw energy. There is exhaustion on both of their faces, and weariness, yet they still move. They still fight because it’s not something that they can just drop now and pretend it never happened. They lost that opportunity a long time ago. All they can do now is chance meetings, and those times always result in fights.
Sasuke is stronger, faster, his sharingan even more deadly. But so is Naruto. They both grow exponentially, each hoping to defeat the other and just end this thing once and for all. Yet it doesn’t happen because they are too similar. Both so obstinate in their ways, so dead set against each other. Neither of them will make room for the other and so they continue on.
The jutsus are hailed upon each other, bringing up blood and sweat and tears. When will this end?
It’s apparent that they want this to end, they want to concede and give up and let the other one pick up what is left of their relationship.
Please. Their eyes seems to plead. Please stop this hell that we’ve created.
Still they fight, words hurled as punches, punches spoken like words.
“Bastard.”
“Idiot.”
Why can’t this end?
It’s the fate that Sasuke chose so many years ago, and changing fate is a hard task. So all they can do is to chip away at each other, again and again. Maybe at this rate, one of them will finally stop and offer a hand instead of a punch.
Maybe.

Title: Kissing Practice
Summary: In which the proverbial and literal closet is flung open, and Naruto & Sasuke can't kiss for their lives.
Warning: Silly-ness, crack!concept,
A/N: Urr....err...yeah...
Their first kiss sucked. Neither of them had any practice kissing. It was so awkward with fumbling hands and bumping heads. Afterwards, they couldn’t look at one another, cheeks red and burning. But then one of them chuckles, and somehow it turns into a full bout of laughter. They were acting so stupid. It was just a kiss, one that no one else saw, who would they tell about being a bad kisser anyway?
So, Naruto and Sasuke edge around each for a few weeks. They are not too sure what to do now. Were they dating? Boyfriends? No. That stuff was for nonsensical girls.
The problem is resolved when Sasuke, one day after the few weeks, grabs Naruto when he’s walking down the hallway, into a random closet. There were an awful lot of closets in their school. And he proceeds to begin their first makeout session, even though they had absolutely no idea what they were doing.
They are a little bit less fumbling now, and a bit more forward. Although no feelings had been discussed, who does that?, they understand what each other feels, but they won’t say it. They’ll say it when they’re ready someday, but for now they kiss and touch and feel. Caution dissipating slowly as need comes to the forefront.
Suddenly the closet door is flung open, and light is shining on their guilty faces. They see Sakura, one of Sasuke’s adoring fangirls, looking at them in at first, shock. Then, a decidedly... happy look.
“Aha! I knew you were doing something with Naruto!” She yelled, pointing at Sasuke, who couldn’t conceal any expression right now, unlike what he usually does, let alone embarrassment. Oddly enough, Sakura then slams the door close, and yelled happily, “Be safe boys!”
She walks off, her steps sounding satisfied somehow, and in the dark of the closet the two boys look at each other, bewildered.
Sasuke stares at him, disbelief showing. Naruto gives a half-hearted shrug. They are at a sort of impasse until Naruto this time, grabs Sasuke and kisses him. They need the practice.
