(no subject)
so last night when i was going to work i stopped at a stop light and noticed that there was a light white smoke coming out of my hood by my windshield. it kinda freaked me out because i just bought this damn car and apparently something was already wrong with it. so today i went to the valvaleen place on main street, since i knew when i bought the car that it needed an oil change and probably a flushing of my cooling system. boy was i in for a massive amount of crap!
my cars cooling system was so nasty it took two hours of cleaning. apparently my overflow tank was so full of oil that it was a thick mess as the man poured it out. it took three times to flush my system and it was still having oil coming up to the surface. it still does. the man said that he thinks that my head gasket is broken. which would massively suck. im going to try and do a couple more things to it, like take the spark plugs out and see if there is any moisture and a few other things that need to be done before im willing to give into the need to change that out and spend $800 to $1200 on that. cause i just dont have the money right now.
this sucks.
UPDATE:
i now know why my car is smoking. my radiator hose has a tear in it and is squirting onto my engine. almost all of the radiator fluid (that was replaced and cleaned yesterday!) is gone! so for now my car is out of commission till i can fix it. which will hopefully happen today.
