my days off...
So I made a bold move by quitting before having another job lined up. The nights were running me ragged. I think I posted about that already. I already had been working on getting hired at Target, and Ani had been bugging them to hire me too. Well it just so happens they got a position open. So the guy calls me and says that he'd like to get me into Wednesdays orientation but I need to come in on Monday and interview. I'm ecstatic because the interview looks more like just a formality. So now I have a few days off which I can use to transition myself into a normal sleeping pattern. It also comes in the second week of the pay period, so I will get my last check from Safeway on July 3rd and get a 1 week check from Target on the 10th, which reall makes it no transition into a bi-weekly format.
We switched rooms with Jenna... which gives us a little more room and her a little more privacy. I did this because I want to be splitting bills with her as long as possible so we both can be saving money and get shit handled that we need to. It still is a little frustrating with all of us here, but we have to deal now for a little while. Just have to keep reminding ourselves that it's for the best.
We spent the "extra" money yesterday. I was going to save it but Ani wanted this dress and so I bought her a whole little outfit. I also bought the kids each a good little toy and myself some new headphones for my mp3 player so I can use it while I do shit because the little earbuds always fall out when I'm trying to excersize or do anything that requires movement. I got those ones that look like little earbuds on the little piece that wraps around your ear. So they're very stable and awesome. I was just going to end up spending that money on my birthday anyway and this way the kids and Ani get something out of it. And they seem happy with yesterday so I'll leave it at that. Anyway, I've got some cleaning to do yet, so more tomorrow...
