I'm still tense, just thinking about it.
If the idea of being in space has ever made you slightly uneasy - this movie will freakin' fry your nerves. I think I'm scarred for life. Pan's Labyrinth was the last film to make me curl up in my theater seat like this, but its effect wasn't as enduring. Hours later, and I'm only a bit less on edge.
Sleeping will be a challenge.
It's a completely different kind of intense than The Bourne Ultimatum, but something tells me that viewing these two movies back to back might risk a permanent case of the shakes. Which is not so good, since I want to see both again - and soon.
Amazing, brutal, surreal. Adjective-spam will have to suffice for the moment.
And how did they manage those visuals on a $40 million budget?!
