*cautiously steers clear of academic meltdown*
Hello Wednesday. So far this week, I have kept my brain intact. Which is a good thing, because I still need it. Lots.
But for the moment, something other than school has my attention, and I must spill. Know how Marvel's been doing those "how x superhero dies" miniseries(es) lately? Yeah, well, my favorite Man Without Fear is next.
It's going to be called Daredevil: End of Days, and - why is this exciting? Because O.M.G. THE CREATIVE TEAM. Holy snap. Bill Sienkiewicz (!!!), Brian Michael Bendis, Alex Maleev, David Mack, and Klaus Janson. All legends when it comes to this character. The only way to have a more perfect Daredevil line-up would be to throw Frank Miller back into the mix, but I realize the man is more interested in his movies nowadays. Which is all fine and dandy, except now I'm extra bitter there's already a Daredevil movie, because he should be the one making/producing it. Dangit.
Seriously, though. I am stoked about the whole thing. I love this quote from Bendis:
"This is the last story of one of the most heartbreaking, violent, passionate characters in the history of comics by creators who have dedicated entire chunks of their lives to him."
And I am so there.
