I refuse to acknowledge the fact that it is already Thursday.

Ahem. So last night was fairly awesome. A couple of old high school friends and I hit up Hollywood, ran into lots of chatty (but colorful) strangers, and saw a show at the Knitting Factory - The Moog, a relatively new band from Hungary. Christina was the one familiar with them, and therefore brave enough to go chat with them before and after the set (it was the smallest venue I've ever been to in my life). Nice fellows, decent sound. They might just go far. Although the lead singer has the uncomfortable habit of invading the front row's personal space - he was literally centimeters away from my face for most of the show. I think he must practice getting as close as possible to a person without touching. For serious; it was odd.

In other news: I caught up with LOST this morning. Oh, Sayid! How I've missed you. This was by far the best episode in a good long while. The flashbacks had legitimate relevance to the present moments that were playing out, and the transitions were much better than they have been. The fake Dharma dude had me convinced (and was still kinda cool even after the reveal). The chess game was classic, even if it made Locke into a bit of an idjit. OMG FREAKLADY SHOT. And Rosseau - welcome back to the playing field, ma'am. Good stuff, all around.

Lots more to post about, but I've got pesky school business to chip away at first (yes, on my spring break). Gah.

New layout, though! Still has a few kinks that need working out, but overall, I'm kind of smitten with it. *waves g'bye to the blue*

lost, random, concerts
