So, after a good year and a half of dormancy,
Reversing Earth is finally reappearing on my list of creative projects. I have a bunch of old writing at home, tossed underneath my bed and stored in ye ol' Remy (my previous laptop), that I'm thinking of housing on RE - along with my (very limited selection of) fic, since ff.net is its only home right now... and what a sad home that is.
RE was previously a hodgepodge cross-section of my various interests, and thus very difficult to maintain - I'd like to streamline it and make it a bit more useful this time around. Not to mention, if I have someplace clean to house all my creative output, odds are it'll make me more inclined to increase that output... which, right now, is a shortcoming. Thank you life.
I'd like to find a decent program to use with my keyboard, too, so I can start messing with some of my music.
It just feels good to organize my thoughts - whatever form they may take. I have too many loose ones floating around, with no way of being seen through, brought to a point. This may not help much, but methinks it'll help at least a little.
So, in my grand and idealistic quest to be productive, I am coming up against a familiar frustration: DESIGN ARGH. I'm currently browsing through dozens of font sites, trying to find something that fits. The logo currently placeholding RE is just not gonna fly.
Did I mention that I'm going home (for the first time since August) this Thursday morning? Midterm break awaits! I'm actually quite in need of it.
