I went, I shopped, I conquered
Just got back from a much-needed Target run. Augh, I always hate draining my account of that much money, but at least I killed all my birds for the next couple months with one (very big) stone. And I get paid on Friday. So: yay!
Aside from the boring essentials, I grabbed myself a pair of TRES AWESOME new pants: black denim bootcut with white/tan stitching. w00t for adding some variety to my wardrobe - for awhile there I'd been forced to don the same two pairs all week long (not warm enough for shorts anymore). Bah.
I also caved and bought the new Evanescence since it was only 9 bucks. Yeah, I know. ;P
In a random change of subject: The Bourne Ultimatum has finally started filming! Is it weird that among the vast crop of franchise threequels coming out next summer, this is the one that I'm anticipating the most? Probably because I have the least idea of where it's going. Pirates and Spidey, I can (to some extent) guess.
Anyway, two more ACE actors have joined the project - David Strathairn and Gael Garcia Bernal, which makes me go HECK. YES. Paul Greengrass and Tony Gilroy: please don't let me (and them) down. I doubt you will, but y'know. Supremacy was so dang good it's hard not to be a little skittish.
It's strange to be setting the tape for a new LOST tonight. Probably won't be able to watch it 'til sometime tomorrow, sadly enough. (When I told the devotees in the Writing Center this, they went mental. "HOW can you miss it?!" "I've got church..." "Dude, it's LOST. God will understand." *g*)
