Ass to the grindstone

Today I got back to the gym for the first time since our mold extravaganza began (more on that in another post). I'm trying to shed the last five pounds of my pregnancy weight and rein in my post-natal tummy. I was starting to get into shape after my pregnancy, but had to put that on hold to wait around for endless workmen, inspectors, etc. Now I' ( Read more... )

You have the same habit that I have! Man, now _I_ want an iced chai and punkin bread. Tho I did discover that one can replicate a hot chai at Starbucks for a fraction of the price by using the tea, honey, spices, and milk they provide you. That, and whole foods has better punkin muffins.
This isn't helping.
Anyway, I started to try pricing chipping; send the stuff whatever way is most convenient. I doubt it'll be much more or less.

Mmmm, pmpkin muffins. Whole foods is too far away for me to go there very often. Such a shame. Starbuck's pumpkin loaf is edible, but nothing to scream about.

I'll try to send that stuff today.

Mmmmmm, a little slice of heaven that. Next think you know, you'll be asking for hot water and using the ketchup on the table to make tomato soup. While your at it, just dump the biscuits in your handbag for later. Next thing you know, you'll be asking for salt before you even taste your food and smother my Chateau Briand in A1 steak sauce!

* Sorry, got carried away with the Lenny Henry thing *

Good luck with the exercise, diet, and die anyway money saving efforts. C=:^)

Thanks. I'm looking forward to Chicago, where I never bother trying to diet. With all the running around, I never gain any weight while I'm there, and that bakery cannot be missed.

Heh, "mold extravaganza" makes it sound a lot more fun than it probably was.

Good luck with the working out!

If it makes it sound like any fun at all, that's more fun than it was.

Thanks for the encouragement! You are a good role model. Now I just have to get the doctor to look at my knee, the one that makes alarming noises.

Ick, I have not been a good role model lately. I have not been running since the race. First I was just feeling amazingly lazy and then I got sick. But now you are being a good role model to me! And I will take the ol' sneakers out for a run this afternoon. :)

Wow-no sweeties is tough.

Clean living is boring, but you could always do things the way some romans did: gorge yourself, then puke it out. :)
