DAMMITALL!!!!
Just spent the last hour getting my thoughts put together and writing up an entry of the CRAP I've had to deal with in the last 36 hours, and just before I could complete the entry and hit POST, SOMETHING went wrong and the sceen jumped to a new page that said "webpage expired" and my entry was lost!

From now on, I'm going back to doing my journals in notepad, then cut-and-paste them into LiveJournal.
Long story short, had a super shitastik day on Friday dealing with idiot clerks who can't speak English, stores that don't carry the stock they're supposed to carry, and other assorted last-minute anxieties.
We finally left Calgary yesterday at 3pm - a good FIVE HOURS later than I had hoped for, and got into Shaunavon at 10:05pm. No problems on the trip itself. The U-Haul car transport worked perfectly, and my truck handled the heavy load (21 livestock fence panels, 3 gates, AND the trailer hauling my Bronco-II) with no problems. I love the sound of that turbo-charger engaging! We arrived at my host's place at 10:10pm, with a note on the door (which they left open for us) saying that they'd gone to the campground (where we have brunch on Sundays) and to join them there for breakfast. Awesome. :) We turned on the A/C, went to bed, and crashed until the sun came up at 5am.
(I'm happy to be here safely, but I'm setting my mood icon based on LJ's burping up my attemped posting... GRRRrrrrr......)
