Just when you start to get used to temperatures on the plus side of Zero, somone comes along and turns off the heat!  It finally snowed today, and instead of the 1cm that they had called for, it seems we got the overdue snow from the last couple of days.  Fortunately, it was very light and fluffy and easy to remove, but there was

Yeah, Canada lifted its skirt and blew some frigid wind our way, so much so that apparently I have tomorrow off.

So do you have the day off due to heavy snowfall, or extreme cold?

The snow's already fallen; this was just subzero coldness. Most places, at it turns out, did stay open. But the decision to close at my workplace usually follows in the footsteps of the public schools.

I'm not complaining too hard- three day weekend! Woo!
