Ka-CHING!!!
Other than the extreme heat and humidity, spawning a thunderstorm and a Tornado Watch, today was a pretty good day at the shop. I did, unfortunately, lose a customer who got tired of waiting for his weed-whip to be repaired. He was pretty nasty about it too, snarling "I don't care!" when I tried to explain that I was the only one here, and going as fast as I could. Ah well, I certainly don't need customers like that! I'll admit he has a right to be annoyed, but you don't have to be nasty about it.
On the plus side, I brought in just under $1500 in sales today! I sold a generator, a Dolmar string-trimmer, and some accessories. I'm actually now out-of-stock on the string-trimmers, and will have to bring some more in. This is a nice problem to have. It would be nice if I could get more people to buy the new CORE Outdoor Power gasless technology string-trimmers though.
I wish they'd upload the new version of the video, with sound in it. The trimmer is amazingly quiet (given that there's no gas engine) but you can't appreciate that from a silent video. :/
