On Monday, I was grousing about how Dixie Sales had botched up my account, and how they said it would be fixed within the day. Well, here we are on Thursday, and it still wasn't working. I called them again to find out what the heck was going on, and the fellow I talked to this time said that there was a number missing from the end of my account number! It was supposed to end in "11" not "1" as per the information I was given. Ironically, the original number does get me into the first level of the account, but not the second. The proper number gets me into both accounts. I'm really not impressed, but at least now I have access to the parts lists and order forms.
In other news, business continues to increase. I've got yet another garden-tractor coming in tomorrow, and I'm at a bit of a loss as to where the heck I'm going to put it! I'll be glad when the new roof is in place, so that I can move a bunch of the older stuff into the back store-rooms that I can't use right now because they leak so badly. In fact, it's leaking in the shop right now due to a light rain outside. Here's hoping that the new roof on the farmhous isn't leaking; They finally finished that job yesterday after a two-week delay waiting for some silicon sealant to come in. This wasn't anything fancy or special, there's no reason that they coudn't have gone to Swift Current to get some, rather than leaving me waiting for two weeks with a blasted hole in my roof, and water leaking in from melting snow and rain!
If we hadn't already given them the down-payment for the shop and bowling alley, I might have very well cancelled everything and taken my business elsewhere.
