Just got a phone-call from Kelly, who's husband Marcel is the fellow I'm buying the building from. She just got a call from the Lawyer's office saying that everything is done, and that I can come and get the keys. That is to say, I can meet with Kelly and get the keys from her, or she could drop them off at the bowling-alley. I have to go into town today anyway (in about 10 minutes, actually) to take the F-150 in for its upgrades (hitch, braking-package, minor repairs), so I'll meet with her once I'm done that.
Also have to talk to the insurance company, because they overcharged
trixstir $100 on her Auto-Pac policy because they didn't bother to read the second line saying we had a $100 credit. Grrrr.... Right now, I need every penny I can get to pay bills, thanks to that $2000 screw-up on
February 22nd. I also have to find out what this $109.00 extra premium on the bowling-alley is. Victor probably told me, and then I forgot, but I need to know so I don't get screwed more than necessary. :/
Also on the F-150, one of the key-bobs they gave me is the wrong one. I thought it was a dead battery, but replacing it made no difference. There's a code number inside the casing, and sure enough, it does not match the code on the one that does work. :/ I'll have to get that taken care of as well.
So far it's a bitter-sweet morning with all that's happening, but at least it's Friday!
Just got a phone-call from another potential customer as I was finishing this. Looking for a connecting-rod for a Tecumseh 8HP snow-king engine. Hopefully I can still get them, and at a decent price. This improves my mood a bit. Winning the $50-Million in the lottery tonight would improve it a lot!!! ;)
