I spent the day unloading the truck and trailer to the best of my ability, but my biggest concern was getting the refrigerator and dishwasher into the house. As luck would have it, the kidling's school-bus pulled into the yard just as I was pondering this dilemma. The kidling was the last student on the bus, and the driver wanted to see the horses. We chatted for a while, and he said he had nothing to do for the rest of the evening. Fatal last words... ;)
I asked if he'd be willing to give me a hand with those two items, and 20 minutes later (and a lot of grunting, huffing, and puffing) we had them safely in the kitchen. This takes a great load off my mind, and I'm very grateful for his help. We're finding more and more how helpful folks are in this community, and I'm also looking forward to being able to return the favours someday. Here's to friends - they sure help make life easier! :)
