Olympic Gold
Canada has finally achieved its Olympic goal of winning gold on home turf. Not only did Canada win gold, but they won more gold medals than anyone else, ever, in the Winter Olympics! 14 Gold for Canada, a new world record!
The games appear to have been a great success, despite a couple of tragic events that occurred. Congratulations to all of our atheletes, and congratulations to all those from other countries as well. When the difference between "winning" and "losing" can be a Thousandth of a Second, I don't think there are truly any "losers" in the Olympics. These people came together to share the dream, and together, they did some amazing things.
