Reconnecting with Old Friends...

     Is there any feeling better than meeting up with an Good Friend that you haven't seen in years, and/or lost contact with?

Today, I experienced that feeling not once, but twice!  Two people that were (and are) very dear to me suddenly showed up out of the woodwork on FurryMUCK today, and we've exchanged and confirmed contact information.

Now that's interesting. The same thing happened to me with a former friend today. But I don't think that relationship is coming back. Too much lack of trust on my part.

Sometimes it can be handy to be in touch with certain people just so you know where they are, and that they're far enough way that you can relax. %)

Thankfully, there's really only one person I know (knew) like that. I used to see his poisonous rants on the UseNet now and then, and I could say, "ah, he's still over there, not here, so I can relax." :)
