Good points, Kristin! I do think, though, that the homosexual community is VERY vocal for how small a percentage they are of America. Statistically, they're an extreme minority...And yet they have a voice that seems to get louder and more insistent by the day. Yes, it's "us" (as in, our culture) that's allowing it to spout off. In the media, it's being crammed down our throats at every opportunity. (Good grief, I can't even get away from it in watching Colonial House!) They're preaching their gospel of perversion in hopes that sin will be recognized as holy (what the institution of marriage is supposed to be). A lot of people are buying it, but I don't think we should take a defeatist attitude on the whole. This world has been full of darkness since the fall of man -- that hasn't changed, and we must not change in our determination to cling to His commandments and His righteousness. Not as a nation, because that never really works, but as the church and as the followers and family of Jesus Christ. He told us to expect

I agree with you 100%, Kristin! The world today is sick. And we Christians are just sitting on our backsides passively letting it go. Part of you wants to say, "O Lord, come quickly!" and the other part says, "Not yet, Lord--it would make me too ashamed to see how little I've done for your name!"
