I'm Finally Out .......
.... of the army!! Got my letter this evening. No more reservist. No more overseas notification. Feeling so free after nearly 2 decades of bondage and servitude......
Just got back from the gym. Went for the Bodypump class this evening. A good workout, my arms and thighs feel a bit numb at the moment. Then did a few minutes on the rowing machine. Didn't get very far as my arms were giving way, only about 1.1 km ..... have to keep this up - echoing badnomad, this is the year of form over substance!!
Today I also worked out that I billed 33.6% more in 2005 compared to 2004 - and felt quite chuffed and accomplished. Of course, 2004 wasn't exactly a very hot year, right after SARS, and therefore possibly quite a low base to begin with from a statistical point of view. Will mention that to boss when he gets back on holiday and hopefully he would note that and translate it into decent increment and bonus (which has yet to be announced and paid) .....
My long weekend starts tonight - taken Friday and Monday off - so gonna veg, catch up with friends and just be as carefree as possible before I really have to get back to work ......
