Empowerment
I'm realising that empowerment is one of the most life-enriching things that one can experience. The fatalistic, can't do anything about the situation to life with its sense of being trapped, boxed in and not in control is hellish for me. That is why I now refuse to conform to so-called "societal norms" if it means giving up being who I actually am. I will no longer allow fraud to be perpetuated upon me by other people as to what, or who, I should be. I will live life the way I want it, but with responsibility, both to myself, and to those around me. And if some people get miffed along the way, well, so be it ....
